Install SSD without replacing HARDDISK

Konten [Tutup]

SSD is a place to store files on a computer. SSDs are usually used
in conjunction with a hard disk or can be used instead of a hard disk. SSDs are
used together with hard drives usually because the SSD capacity is still small
and is usually used as a place to install the operating system and applications
that will be used. This is because the price of an SSD is still relatively
expensive compared to the price of a hard drive.

Today many computers are switching to using SSD because the read and
write speed is very fast compared to hard drives. In addition, the SSD is also
impact resistant. if dropped, the SSD still functions properly because of its
solid shape, unlike the case with the hard drive if it is dropped there will be
effects that can cause damage to the hard disk because it has components that
    are very prone to collisions.

With these advantages, SSDs are the main needs of computer users,
especially gamers, designers, video editors, and those who require high-speed
    computer performance.

Here will be explained the steps in general how to replace the SSD
    on a laptop.

    • Unscrew all the screws on the laptop case.
    • Open the laptop case carefully
    • Put the SSD in a special SSD socket.
    • Install the laptop case
    • Lock the laptop case with bolts.

    Done.

If the laptop does not have an SSD socket, we take advantage of the
hard disk space to replace it, by using a SATA SSD whose size is according to
    the laptop's SATA hard drive.

Unscrew all the screws on the laptop case.

    • Open the laptop case carefully
    • Unscrew all the screws that lock the hard drive
    • Remove the hard drive
    • Plug the SSD into the sata jack
    • Replace the screw to lock the SSD
    • Install the laptop case
    • Lock the laptop case with bolts.
