Remove Multi Boot Grub Linux Display On Windows
Noteinnet - If you make multi boot linux and windows, when you turn on the
computer there will be a display choosing the operating system that will be
used for booting. This is a natural thing because we have to choose what
operating system we will use.
There are times when we are not using one of the operating systems
that we install, for example, Linux that we want to remove. So we only use
windows on the computer. Of course, if it is not used, we just delete the linux
from the hard disk. This is of course in order to enlarge the remaining hard
disk storage.
However, after deleting Linux from the hard disk, Grub Linux still
appears every time I turn on the computer. For some people it is not a problem,
but this is quite annoying when every time you turn on the computer you have to
see things you don't need to see. One of the steps that need to be done to
remove GRUB LINUX is as follows:
When turning on the computer, it goes directly into the BIOS (every
brand of computer has a different way of entering the BIOS, for this example
using ASUS, just press the F2 key).
After entering the BIOS, enter Advanced Mode (F7)
Select the Boot tab, on the "Boot Option #1" option,
select the location where to install Windows
“Boot Option #2” select disable
Save or select F10
Congratulations now the Linux Grub display no longer appears.
